How to use Boundary Strip [G8000 Max]

Boundary strip aims to set blocked-off areas , Robot will recognize the Boundary Strip and will not go cross strip to enter the blocked-off areas.

Blocked-Off areas is listed as below:
A. Avoid gaps close to 3.07 inch / 78 mm (the thickness of the robot's body) to prevent the robot from getting stuck., like sofa or cabinet.

Once you identify the areas or items you want to block off, follow these steps:

1. If necessary, use scissors to cut the Boundary Strip vertically to a shorter length based

on the size of the area you want to restrict. Note: The strip can only be cut vertically

to adjust its length, not horizontally to change its width. Be sure to measure the length

accurately before cutting.

2. Use the supplied adhesive tape to affix the Boundary Strip flat on the floor or under

a rug, ensuring it lies completely flat for optimal performance.

B.Some place don't want robot to clean, like pet food bowls, kids toy, kitchen or bathing room.

Once you identify the areas or items you want to block off, follow these steps:
1. If necessary, use scissors to cut the Boundary Strip vertically to a shorter length based on the size of the area you want to restrict.

Note: The strip can only be cut vertically to adjust its length, not horizontally to change its width. Be sure to measure the length
accurately before cutting.

2. Use the supplied adhesive tape to affix the Boundary Strip flat on the floor or under a rug, ensuring it lies completely flat for optimal performance.

Note：

1. If the Boundary Strip is rolled up, remove it and then reapply it on the floor using adhesive tape to ensure proper functionality.

2. Ensure that the strip is affixed at the same surface level as the robot for optimal performance.

3. Exercise caution to avoid damaging the floor when using adhesive tape.

4. You can also use boundary strips to block off carpets or hide the strips underneath the edges to prevent the robot from entering.

5. Keep the Boundary Strip away from objects that emit excessive heat.
